Title: Automation Engineer

Duties: Create automated systems for use in a production and manufacturing environment for the printing business. Determine existing automation capabilities and future opportunities, create detailed project roadmaps for automation projects that support business objectives. Integrate, maintain and debug PLC and computer systems and programs used in assigned automation projects. Ensure compliance to quality assurance when programming or maintaining automation code.

Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Electronics Engineering or a related field and 1 year of experience working in an automation and manufacturing environment. Prior experience must include: 1 year of experience developing, testing, and validating embedded or control-system software; 1 year of experience programming and configuring Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) for industrial automation; Experience conducting quality assurance or performance evaluations on automation equipment or control systems.

Salary: $85,280 per year

Hours: 40 hours per week
